EMEC Machine Tools, Mississauga, Ont., has announced its partnership with Geminis Lathes, Elgoibar, Spain, for distribution, service, and support of the Geminis product line.

EMEC will distribute Geminis products in an exclusive agreement across Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, and the Maritimes. It will be responsible for sales, service, parts, training, and applications support for Geminis customers within EMEC’s territory. The distributor has a combined team of 20 service and applications technicians between its Mississauga and the Montreal offices.

Geminis produces large capacity, heavy-duty turning equipment that are customizable for simple to complex applications and ranges from large flat-bed CNC lathes for part diameters up to 138 in. and part lengths up to 945 in. Configurations include turning only, turning with live tooling + C-axis, Y-axis, and heavy-duty milling columns.
