The DIATEST BMD Bore Gauge delivers a higher degree of automation to CNC machining by offering 100% in-process measurement.

Whether turning, milling, grinding the DIATEST BMD plug gauge is located in the tool changing system of the CNC machine using standard tool holders. No conversion of machines is required to allow measurements to be performed with measured data transferred wirelessly using the DIAWIRELESS network.

The gauge offers highly repeatable accuracy with the floating holder compensating for machine positioning errors. The BMD can measure bores sizes of 3.95 to 100 mm.

The DIATEST BMD offers the ability for machine shops to integrate in-process bore gauging as a step towards Industry 4.0 resulting in less human interventions and rejected parts.
