Michigan State Police troopers are asking for help in solving a theft from a property in the 1000 block of Colon Road in Matteson Township in Branch County.

Between Feb. 1 and April 10, many items were taken, including a metal wheelbarrow, an orange generator, a metal wagon chassis, scrap metal from a decommissioned Dodge pickup, and a wood lathe, metal roofing sheets and two washing machines.

Anyone with information about this crime is encouraged to contact the Michigan State Police Marshall Post.

Troopers are also looking for two Branch County residents in thefts and break-ins in both Branch and Calhoun counties.

Troopers went to an address on S. Drive South in Tekonsha Township in Calhoun County on April 21.

The property owner said thefts occurred overnight. Two nights prior, he set up several trail cameras on both properties after the same suspects stole property from that location and his residence down the street.

Two white male subjects were observed in the still pictures, along with a silver TrailBlazer. The investigation is ongoing.
